The Darryl Starbird Rod & Custom car show has been going on in Tulsa since 1964, I personally have been participating since I entered my '63 Impala in 1988 with the Tulsa Late Great Chevy Club. When I purchased my '71 Monte Carlo, it didn't fit in a specific club so I began to setup my own display with some close friends. My best pal (Dave Darin) made me the "Bird's Garage" neon sign which I have used to label my spot (and be my logo) at the Starbird show for many years. I always look forward to this show, I will reunite with friends that I may only see once a year, look at some great cars, pretty women and have a beer or two In the middle of February.
